Indian wrestler Ravi Kumar was defeated during a duel against Nurislam Sanayev at. bitten in the arm by his opponent Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Ravi successfully defeated Sanayev and qualified for the final through lockdown. In the point calculation, however, Ravi Kumar is still behind Sanayev.
During the fight, Sanayev was caught by the camera biting Ravi’s arm. Sanaev’s bite marks were clearly visible even on Ravi’s right arm.
Despite being bitten, Ravi Kumar is believed to be in good shape and ready for the 57kg final.
“Ravi was in pain, but then he was put on hold. He is fine.”
“He will be fit for the final, no problem at all,” said a member of the Indian wrestling team, quoted as saying Indian express.

By Thursday afternoon India won 1 silver and 3 bronze at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Silver from Chanu Saikhom Mirabai at 49 kg weightlifting, same class as Windy Cantika Aisah.
Meanwhile, three bronze medals were won by PV Sindu (badminton), Lovlina Borgohain (boxing) and the men’s hockey team.
If Ravi Kumar can win gold, India will catch up with Indonesia in the Tokyo Olympics.
