Lamborghini has always pushed the boundaries of style to the extreme to better differentiate itself from its competitors, starting with the enemy Ferrari, and has established itself as a brand with a spectacular and sharp style, but sometimes controversial and both praise and admonition causes. Thanks to their exuberant and inimitable personality, reference models such as the Miura, the Espada, the Urraco, the Countach, the Diablo, the Aventador and, as of this year, the Revuelto, have earned a unique reputation worldwide. By meeting the designers who shaped this image, Gautam Sen supplements his testimonies from Marcello Gandini, Luc Donckerwolke, Walter de Silva, Filippo Perini and Mitja Borkert with an extensive iconography of more than 350 drawing documents, designer sketches, models, historical catalogs and rarer works of photography, including completely unpublished photos by Kaare Byberg, Branko Radovinovic and Makarand Baokar.

Introduced by Robert Cumberford, former General Motors designer and respected automotive historian, this work, translated into French by Glnat Editions, also includes portraits of Lamborghini’s key engineers and coachbuilders, as well as long thematic boxes on concept cars, prototypes and even the brand’s abandoned projects .
