Yashasvi Jaiswal of RR scored 625 runs in 14 matches in the 2023 season at an average of 48.07 and a strike rate of 163.61, setting a record for most runs by an uncapped batsman in an IPL season. He scored one century and five fifties, with a career-high 124.
Australian batsman Shaun Marsh, who was uncapped in 2008, is ranked second with 616 runs scored in 11 matches at an average of 68.44 and a strike rate of 139.68, including five fifty scores and a century. His highest score was 115.
Parag leads the Royals with most runs scored in a season. The Royals will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the second qualifier in Chennai on Friday to decide who will play in the final against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday.
