Previously, the Xiaomi Watch S1 was rumored to be launched in the first quarter of 2022, and now the company has officially confirmed that the Watch S1 will debut alongside the Xiaomi 12 smartphone series on Tuesday.

Xiaomi’s China site shared a teaser poster of the upcoming smartwatch and presented the smartwatch’s design in addition to the start date.

In terms of design, the upcoming smartwatch will have a round design and the case appears to be made of metal. It will also have two physical buttons on one side, similar to the Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve Active.

The brand is also expected to launch the Xiaomi 12 series phones on Tuesday. The manufacturer has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro will have the latest and most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset from Qualcomm.

In terms of charging, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X support 67W fast charging, while the 12 Pro is said to come with 120W fast charging support. MIUI 13 runs on the Android 12 basis on the devices.

The phone may have a 6.2-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution. It is expected to have support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

On the back, the Xiaomi 12 has a rectangular camera module that houses a triple camera setup. Rumor has it that the phone will have a 50 MP front camera sensor.
