Fujifilm Instax Pal digital camera launched in India

Camera and photography major Fujifilm has launched the ultra-compact digital camera Instax Pal, a new addition to its Instax series, to mark its 25th anniversary in India. Designed to capture spontaneous moments, it aims to highlight the importance of small experiences. Equipped with a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor with primary color filter, the Instax Pal camera has a default mode activated by the shutter button. A wide-angle lens allows users to capture unique shots from different angles and showcase detailed backgrounds that are often difficult to achieve with smartphones. The Instax Pal is priced at Rs 10,999 and is available in five color options: Gem Black, Powder Pink, Pistachio Green, Lavender Blue and Milky White. It can be purchased at Fujifilm India retail stores and website.

Foxconn is investing Rs 1,200 crore in a new factory in India

Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn has announced its intention to build a chip assembly and testing facility in India in collaboration with HCL Group. According to a regulatory filing, the move involves an investment of Rs 1,200 crore. The aim is to build the facility on company-owned property to meet operational requirements. This decision comes after Foxconn's previous statement in November 2023 committing over $1.6 billion to a similar project in India through its subsidiary Hon Hai Technology India Mega Development.

WhatsApp will soon support third-party chat

With a month to go before the European Union's (EU) Digital Markets Act (DMA) deadline, meta-company WhatsApp is preparing to enable integration with other messaging networks within its app, meaning it will allow chats from will support third-party providers, the media reported. In an interview with Wired, Dick Brouwer, chief technical officer at WhatsApp, revealed that the company is ready to introduce interoperability on its platform to serve its extensive user base of over 2 billion users.

Realme 12 Pro+ 5G teased with transparent back
