The All India Police Equestrian Championship competition concludes at the SVP National Police Academy

HYDERABAD: The 42nd All India Police Equestrian Championship & Mounted Police Duty Meet, 2023 concluded with a spectacular closing ceremony on January 5, 2024 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy. The event was spread over 10 days and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 22 teams representing various central police organisations, central armed police forces and state police forces.

A total of 605 men officers/staff and 14 women officers/staff actively participated in 34 events named One Day Event One Star, Dressage, Tent Pegging, Show Jumping, Medley Relay, Hacks, Mental Hazard Test etc. and showcased their skills with 311 participants proving horses.

The jury of this prestigious event consisted of 15 serving and retired officers, including five former DGPs, who played a crucial role in ensuring a fair verdict.

Air Marshal S. Shrinivas, VSM, Commandant, Air Force Academy, Dundigal graced the occasion as the chief guest of the graduation ceremony. Director Shri Amit Garg graced the event with his presence. Teachers, 76 RR IPS trainees and staff were present.

The 42nd All India Police Equestrian Championship & Mounted Police Duty Meet 2023 not only showcased the exceptional skills of the participants but also served as a platform to promote mutual respect and cooperation within the law enforcement community.
