Saudi Arabia’s PDTC signs pact with Bharat Electronics

Saudi Arabia’s Power for Defense Technologies Co (PDTC) has signed an agreement with the state-owned Ltd (BEL) to promote defense and aerospace technologies in both countries. “The agreement will make it easier for BEL and PDTC to jointly bring cutting-edge technologies and technological solutions into the KSA’s defense ecosystem,” said a press release on Tuesday.

PDTC founder Sheikh Mohammed Mustfa-Zaini Al-Shaibi said BEL is at the forefront of technological innovation in India and the partnership will make it possible to bring critical technologies for civil and defense applications to KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

This agreement will further strengthen the existing bilateral relationship between the two countries and turn the relationship into a strategic partnership, said Anil Pant, General Manager International Marketing at BEL.

“As a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art electronic products and systems for the armed forces, we see many such technological partnerships between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India in the near future,” he added.

PDTC, headquartered in Riyadh, brings defense, aerospace and security technologies developed by global players and localizes them for Saudi Arabia and the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).
