Ramita won bronze in the women’s 10-meter air rifle competition with a total of 229.1 points, although the well-known Mehuli Ghosh finished fifth and Nisha Kanwar eighth.

The other Indian shooters in the men’s 10-meter rifle finals, Parth Makhija and Srikanth Dhanush, finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
In the 10-meter air pistol for the juniors, Naveen led the overall standings with a score of 584 and made it to the final.
Sarabjot Singh also shot the same number of points, finishing second with fewer inner 10s. Vijayveer Sidhu was the third Indian to make it, finishing fourth with a score of 581.
Rhythm Sangwan was the best Indian in the junior 10 meter air pistol event, finishing second with a score of 577.
The celebrated Manu Bhaker qualified third with 574, while Esha Singh shot 572, qualifying in fifth overall.
This is the first multidisciplinary event since the Tokyo Olympics, which will involve up to 32 nations and nearly 370 athletes.
There are 14 gold medals at stake in the first three days of the championship.
