Pwc India news: PwC India acquires Bengaluru-based Venerate Solutions

PwC India announced on Tuesday that it will acquire Bengaluru-based consulting firm Venerate Solutions Private Limited. However, PwC India did not disclose any financial details of the acquisition.

Upon completion of the acquisition, Venerate and its team of consultants and developers will integrate with PwC India’s Salesforce practice, PWC India said, adding that this acquisition is consistent with its commitment to the digital transformation space and also to strategic alliances to invest.

Founded in 2016, Venerate develops and implements custom solutions on the Salesforce platform across multiple clouds – including the Financial Services Cloud, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and various integration tools.

“Venerate will add significant end-to-end capabilities in platform engineering, cloud and managed services to our Salesforce consulting practice, enhancing our ambitions as a community of problem solvers,” said Sanjeev Krishan, Chairman of PwC India.

Arnab Basu, Leader Advisory at PwC India, said the acquisition marks the beginning of the inorganic growth aspirations of the advisory business in India.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions.

PwC has a network of firms in 156 countries with over 2,95,000 employees providing insurance, advisory and tax services.
