President of the Wrestling Federation of India loses calmness, beats wrestlers on stage

The President of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and MP for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Kaiserganj, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, lost his temper on Friday and hit a young wrestler on stage. The incident occurred during the U-15 National Wrestling Championship at Ranchi’s Shaheed Fanpat Rai Indoor Stadium.

Singh, who was the main guest in the Wrestling Championship, lost his temper over an aging wrestler who started arguing with the WFI President after forcing himself on stage despite being told to. The wrestler, who is said to be from Uttar Pradesh, was prevented from entering the competition because he was over the age limit of 15 years. When the Kaiserganj MP arrived on the stage, the wrestler came in and argued with him. After repeatedly asking the wrestler to resign, the WFI president lost his temper and hit him.

Jharkhand Wrestling Association President Bholanath Singh and other members present rushed to the stage and reassured the President of the Wrestling Federation of India.
