The main guest of the event was the UP Government Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, INR and investment promotion Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi. The tablets and smartphones were distributed by the Minister and Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Seema Singh.
Nandi said India is a land of youth where there is an inexhaustible supply of exceptional talent. He said young people could make a positive contribution to the nation and the world through their exceptional talent. He urged students not to be afraid of fights, success would kiss their feet.
He said there is no shortcut to success, so keep working hard. He said the current government hires young people based on merit, work efficiency and skills. VC Prof Seema Singh, who chaired the event, said tablets and smartphones would help students with their technology knowledge. She challenged students to use these devices wisely.
