Panasonic India expands ESL and Digital SignEdge business

Diversified technology company Panasonic India announced on Tuesday the expansion of its Electronic Shelf Labeling (ESL) and Digital SignEdge 2.0 solutions business.

These technology-enabled display solutions are designed to increase operational efficiencies for retailers and businesses, the company said in a statement.

The advanced, updated ESL solution gives retailers more control over real-time pricing while providing significant improvements in service and store operation efficiency.

With ESL, retailers will be able to achieve greater efficiency with automated operating modules, reduce significant raw material and service costs by replacing paper with digital technology, and make this an environmentally friendly and sustainable practice.

On the other hand, the Digital SignEdge (SDN) 2.0 solution helps retailers and digital display owners provide flexibility, control, and affordable ways to sell their digital ad space to a larger audience and generate additional advertising revenue.

Vijay Wadhawan, Director of Panasonic India (Systems Solutions Division) said, “These professional interactive display solutions have already proven their effectiveness and are currently used by retailers, quick service restaurants (QSRs), DOOH and auto manufacturers to name a few.”

He added that these display solutions have also resulted in significant reductions in paper usage, allowing companies to increase operational efficiencies and profit margins while ensuring long-term sustainability.
