Squid Game became a global phenomenon after its release last year. The series revolved around a competition, the titular Squid game, which lures common people who are in debt and promises them a huge cash prize if they win a series of children’s games well-known in South Korea. But the consequences of defeat are fatal – in the truest sense of the word.
A release date for Squid Game Season 2 has not yet been announced.
