Meera Chopra reveals she had a tough time at Cannes| Obtaining clothes became a difficult task

Actor Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, actor Meera ChopraShe made her fashion debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. For her appearance at the event, the actress wore Christophe Guillarme, Malaand Kinnaryofficial, Sophie Couture and Nikhil Thampi. The actress attended the 75th edition of the festival to unveil the first look of her film Safed. In conversation with Hindustan times, Meera said, “Going to the festival was actually an overwhelming feeling because I wasn’t just going with one liquor brand or just walking the red carpet for nothing. I know there were many people who did that. Continuing the conversation, Chopra opened up about how the whole exercise of getting dressed, clicking your pictures, posting them on your social media has become awkward and tiring. Chopra says for her it was more about connecting with people who are passionate about cinema and business. “The focus should always be on work. But because of this madness, it all boils down to what type of design and brand you wear? It’s a very superficial way of thinking,” Chopra told the publication.

Later in the interview, Chopra revealed that sourcing clothes for red carpet appearances is a difficult task. “When I was sourcing clothes for my festival. I was having a hard time because most Indian designers wanted to gift Deepika Padukone clothes or shut down a bigger celebrity,” he added. “Fashion is becoming a key element. You want to show your best side and not do anything wrong anywhere… The pressure is on. I was anxious and couldn’t sleep for three or four nights when I was getting my clothes because I had this pressure on my head.”
