Malaysia Open 2022 Results: Face India’s Anthony Ginting in Round of 16, JAKARTA – Indonesian men’s singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting achieved good results in the first round Malaysia open 2022.

Anthony Ginting advances to the round of 16 Malaysia open 2022 after breaking Sai Praneeth’s resistance with a score of 21-15, 19-21 and 21-9.

From the start of the match, Ginting and Praneeth played tight. However, Indonesia’s singles number one ended the first break with an 11-9 advantage.

After the break, Ginting became more aggressive in attacking the opposing defence. As a result, he secured the first game, 21-15.

In the second game, the world number 19 player from India tried to get up. Praneeth put up strong resistance, balancing Ginting at 5-5.

However, Ginting was still too strong to end the second break of play 11-7.

Unfortunately, Ginting’s performance dropped after the break. It was used by Praneeth to level the score at 11-11.

Praneeth’s revival was more evident after leading 16-13 until finally forcing the rubber game after winning the second game by a score of 21-19.

In the deciding game, Ginting was under pressure at the beginning to fall 3:6 behind. Fortunately, Ginting was able to withstand the pressure and took the lead again at the break with 11:7.

Praneeth was only able to add two more points before Ginting finally finished the match at a position of 21-9.

This win also adds to Ginting’s superior record over Praneeth. Ginting won five of eight matches.

In the round of 16 of the Malaysia Open 2022, Ginting will meet the winner of the match Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo vs. Sitthikom Thammasin (Thailand) on Thursday (June 30, 2022).
