THE THIRD “UNNETHIC” DOSE
The head of the global vaccine manufacturing giant, Serum Institute of India, Adar Poonawalla, said on the 17th population.
Some countries like France have started giving third doses to certain populations, such as the elderly and people with compromised immune systems.
Israel, Germany and the UK have also announced the launch of product recalls. The United States is also expected to begin injections on September 20. Countries that opt for a third dose report a decline in the effectiveness of vaccines against infections in view of the delta variant.
The World Health Organization and part of the scientific community regularly denounce the blatant inequality in access to vaccinations. They believe that booster vaccination for the whole population is not justified because vaccines against severe forms will remain very effective and will save more lives if given to populations that are not yet protected.
