The Indonesian women’s singles bent the knees of Indian athlete Keyura Mopati with satisfactory results being 21-13 and 21-14.
In today’s round of 16 on Thursday (July 21, 2022) Komang meets the Malaysian athlete Goh Jin We. The two will meet in Match 4, which begins at 11:00 a.m. WIB.
Previously, Komang claimed to be able to master the game’s pattern enough to advance into the last 16.
“Today I was able to control the game maybe because I played the qualifier yesterday, so I already know the conditions of the field and the wind,” Komang said after the game.
He continued, in the conditions of the game the opponent was quite difficult with the wind, so this moment became an advantage for him.
“In fact, the wind is still the same as yesterday. Still tight,” added Komang.
With this victory, Komang meets the winner between Goh Jin Wei (Malaysia) and Tanya Hemanth (India) in the round of 16. When he met Goh, Komang wanted to test his skills.
“Tomorrow I want to play calmly and do my best. If I meet Goh Jin Wei, I want to see how I can match him,” said Komang.
