Akshay gave an appropriate response when asked how he managed to work with so many female co-stars. He said, “Sabse pehle tu ye bata kaunsi ladki ke saath ghumta hai tu? Mere ko toh koi tantrum nazar nahi aaya inka. Koi cute koi tantrum nahi. Mujhe toh bada hi normal laga. Tune kaun se tantrum jhelein hain? (First, tell me what girl are you hanging out with? I haven’t seen any tantrums in my co-stars. I thought everything was normal. What kind of tantrums have you handled?)”

Slated to hit screens on August 11, 2022, Raksha Bandhan tells the story of each Indian brother and highlights the issue of dowry which is still prevalent in some parts of our country. Elaborating on this, Akshay said, “While I’m making films, I just don’t talk about the problem. I’m also looking for solutions. There is a solution in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Padman and many more. Also in this film there is a solution for dahej (dowry). There is an answer to what we and our society should do. The film will provide the solution to the problem.”

The film will clash with Aamir Khan’s at the box office Laal Singh Chaddha, which will also be released on the same day. Speaking of the same, the Ram Setu Actor said: “It’s not a collision. It’s about good films coming together. I hope both films do well.”
