Kapil Sharma ended the current season of The Kapil Sharma Show on Friday. Kapil’s colleague and actress Sumona Chakravati confirmed the film adaptation. She shared a few pics on her Instagram account with a caption that read, “N it’s a WRAP! Phir Milenge 🤞🏽 ek chote se break ke baad (We’ll meet again after a short break).”
As soon as Sumona shared the news, fans flooded the post with comments. “Please come back as soon as possible,” read one comment. “You will be missed,” one fan wrote, while many expressed how sad they were to know the show will be airing soon. Kapil and his team are taking a break as they go on a comedy tour to the US.
In a few videos shared by Archana Puran Singh on her Instagram account, Kapil and his show’s crew enjoyed a small party. One of the videos also featured Kapil with his wife Ginni Chathrath on “Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye”. Other clips featured Kapil both singing and dancing on the show’s stage.
In the final episode of the Kapil Sharma Show filmed on Friday, Kapil hosted the team of Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Maniesh Paul were on the show to promote their upcoming movie which is due out on June 24th.
Earlier this week, Varun Dhawan shared some posters of Jug Jugg Jeeyo and wrote: “My first post-pandemic film to come back to theaters. Feel like a newbie.
