Citing the EY India report, Maggioncalda said generative AI could contribute $1.2 trillion to $1.5 trillion to India's GDP by 2030, marking a crucial time of disruption where opportunities and risks depend on individual access depend on digital education.

Highlighting the crucial role of quality education in human progress, Maggioncalda acknowledged that the COVID-19 pandemic has not only laid the foundation for online education but also opened up opportunities for remote work. He emphasized that jobs with lower wages and no formal training have historically been at risk of automation, while jobs with college degrees and higher wages have remained less affected. However, he emphasized that generative AI will change this landscape.

Citing findings from the University of Pennsylvania, Maggioncalda said half of all jobs are exposed to generative AI, impacting even higher earners.
