Indonesia officially becomes the presidency G20 from December 1, 2021 to the G20 summit in November 2022. Today, December 9, 2021, until tomorrow, the Finance and Central Bank Deputies’ Meeting (FCBD) will take place in Nusa Dua, Bali. This FCBD is a series of G20 Presidency events.

The Executive Director of the Communications Department of Bank Indonesia (BI) Erwin Haryono said that the G20 Finance Track Forum started with a meeting at the level of the Deputy Finance Ministers and Central Banks of the G20 countries.

Delegates from 20 G20 member countries and international institutions such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the OECD and other institutions take part in the event.

This meeting took place online and offline. Erwin said around 315 security guards were deployed in the Nusa Dua area.

For delegates who were present in Nusa Dua, the guests had to take an antigen smear at each series of events. “Delegates must dab antigen before entering Venue every day, “said Erwin on Thursday (December 9th, 2021) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Nusa Dua.

The FCBD will be held three times during the presidency. The next meeting will take place in February and July next year.

In addition, working group-level meetings are held to discuss various programs and agreements. The G20 forum will end with a World Leaders Summit in October 2022.

He also mentioned that the delegations that were already in Nusa Dua were India, Japan and Argentina. For your information, the current G20 member countries are South Africa, United States (USA), Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Mexico, France, Russia, China. , Turkey and the European Union.
