KPS and NPS were arrested through undercover investigations by officers from the West Jakarta Immigration Department. Both have been carrying out their actions since 2022.

Several pieces of evidence were seized, namely two passports, two VOA (Visa on Arrival Receipt) stickers, IDR 1,260,000 in cash, fortune telling devices, photos of the orphanage and three mobile phones.
