Five teams will fight for the Vedanta Women’s League title in Goa from October 6th

The 5th edition of the Vedanta Women’s League (VWL) in cooperation with the Goa Football Association (GFA) starts on October 6th with a double game between FC Goa against UC Telaulim at the Navelim Ground and Sirvodem SC against Compassion FC at the Dramapur Ground. In the economics season 2021-22, there will be a two-stage competition between five teams for the championship, namely Sirvodem Sports Club, Compassion Football Club, United Club of Telaulim, Futebol Club YFA and FC Goa. More than 100 female soccer players from the state of Goa will take part in the league and play for five participating teams.

The Vedanta Women’s Football League had four successful editions. The best players in the league like Karishma Shirvoikar and Michel Castanha have left the league.

I congratulate all teams and their respective teams for the next league, ”said Churchill Alemao, President of the Goa Football Association.
