NEW DELHI: The draw for the first edition of the Hero Futsal Club Championship 2021-22 was held on Thursday via video conference. The draw ceremony was preceded by a meeting of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
As a token of respect for the Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Lavino J Rebello, the Committee observed a minute’s silence.

AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das said: “This is a landmark moment in Indian futsal. It’s something we would have done a few years earlier if COVID hadn’t hit us. However, this is a great start to futsal in India. and I wish all clubs good luck. ”
League CEO Dhar said, “We have held many workshops with the national associations over the past year and a half, and so many of them have been able to hold their national futsal leagues afterwards.
“Due to the growing popularity of the game, we have decided that there will be no more direct registrations from next year. The Hero Indian Super League and the Hero I-League Clubs also have to take part in the national leagues, which means that the number of games is increasing. ”
Following the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee meeting, the Futsal Club Championship draw was held at the Football House in New Delhi, with representatives from all clubs following the draw via video conference.
The groupings for the Futsal Club Championship 2021-22:
Group A: Chanmari Zothan Futsal, Super Strikers FC, Baroda FC, Mohammedan SC.
Group B: Kuppuraj FC, Speed ​​Force FC, Sporting Clube de Goa, Bengaluru FC.
Group C: Telongjem FC, Delhi FC, Niaw Wasa United Sports & Cultural Club, TRAU FC.
Group D: Real Kashmir FC, Classic Football Academy, Mangal Club, Sudeva Delhi FC.
