INDOSPORT.COM – Ritu Phogat invited Conor McGregor to his birthplace after the former UFC champion showed his support for the Indian fighter.

Conor McGregor, an Irish MMA fighter who is also a businessman, previously tweeted his support for Ritu at dawn on Friday (05/11/21), which coincided with the celebration of Diwali for people of Indian descent.

He cited a tweet from an Indian sports account reporting that Ritu was just a step away from becoming the first Indian athlete to win a world title in MMA.

Ritu, who has publicly recognized that her idol athlete is Khabib Nurmagomedov, will be one step away from becoming MMA world champion when she beats Stamp Fairtex in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Tournament.
