Indonesia, who became the overall winner of the Singapore Open 2022 thanks to three title wins, has risen in the current BWF rankings.

The two winners of the Singapore Open 2022, Apryani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Martin, were able to improve significantly.

Apriyani/Fadia jumped five spots to eighth in the BWF World Tour 2022 rankings, the pair, who just made their Sea Games 2021 debut, sit just around two thousand points behind Jongkolphan Kititharakul/Rawinda Prajongjai (Thailand) in seventh.

In men’s doubles, Leo/Daniel made it into the top 10 after six places thanks to the title at the Singapore Open 2022. The babies, nicknamed Leo/Daniel, collected 33,320 points.

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, who won the men’s singles title at the Singapore Open 2022, also saw an increase, albeit not significantly.

Ginting took over from compatriot Jonathan Christie, who finished third in the BWF rankings. The player from Cimahi, West Java only lost to Viktor Axelsen (Denmark, 1) and Prannoy HS (India, 2).

Rinov Rinaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari take fifth place in the BWF mixed doubles ranking. Rinov/Pitha improved from seventh place by two places.

Finally, in the women’s singles, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung moved up seven notches to 21st place thanks to a total of 25,380 points.
