Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) users are having trouble logging into the popular Battle Royale game. Video game developer Krafton admitted the problem in an official notice in a post on the game’s website. However, you are still unable to find the source of the problem or fix it.
The problem was first discovered on December 29th at around 9:00 p.m. IST. It is important to note that only a few players have faced the problem.
Krafton posted a notice on the official BGMI website that reported that users might see “Server authentication failure. Login failed. “When attempting to log into the game. Users posted screenshots of the error message on social media and participated in online discussions about the issue.
The notice was last updated on December 30th at 12:05 am and the company’s official statement was that it is attempting to resolve the issue. As of this writing, there have been no further updates.
BGMI replaced the popular Player Unknown Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG) in India as PUBG Mobile was banned in the country for security reasons. The new BGMI is an exclusive version of the game in India and has managed to be as popular as PUBG Mobile.
