After Vikram, Fahadh Faasil shoots for Mari Selvaraj’s Maamannan

Actor Fahadh Faasil has joined the sets of director Mari Selvaraj’s upcoming movie Maamannan. The film’s editor, Selva RK, shared a photo of Fahadh being greeted on set by the cast and crew.

If the reports are to be believed, Fahadh plays the villain in Maamannan. The main roles are played by Udhayanidhi Stalin, Keerthy Suresh and Vadivelu. The film score is composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman.

Mari Selvaraj’s last film was Karnan starring Dhanush. The film about human rights abuses committed in the name of caste received an overwhelming response at the box office last year. Despite Covid-19 restrictions and a cap on seating capacity in cinemas, the film went on to become a box-office hit.

Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil is now awaiting Vikram’s release. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film stars Kamal Haasan in the title role. Fahadh has played one of the main roles along with Vijay Sethupathi. Suriya will have a cameo appearance in the film.

Vikram hits theaters on June 3rd.

Fahadh Faasil also has Pushpa: The Rule in the pipeline. Fahadh had appeared in Pushpa: The Rise in Act III, setting the stage for an epic clash in the sequel. Director Sukumar is currently in the writing process and the sequel will be in production soon.
